Illusions Salon & Spa has many different hair stylists offering a variety of hair services. When looking for a new stylist, take your time and review their bios to identify a stylist the would be a great match for your needs.

Our stylists individually price their services, so the prices can vary. The below list provides a good overview of our price structure. Please be sure to ask the prices of your stylist prior to receiving services.

valerie valerio, stylist and owner

Valerie Valerio is both the co-owner and a stylist at Illusions Salon and Spa. Val received her Cosmetology license in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1991. she has been in Colorado Springs for several years working and training closely in the area of Color and Styling.

A word from val: I am trained to be a JOICO educator and have worked with JOICO for 14 years. Recently, I discovered PUREOLOGY and I love it also. I still use JOICO color and perms but now use PUREOLOGY for shampoo, conditioner and styling products. However, my favorite hairspray will always be AEROGEL ... the best hair spray of all time. I enjoy hair cutting and coloring of all kinds. My specialty is curly or wavy hair since I have spent my life styling and managing my own crazy hair.

Judi gregory

Judi Gregory is one of our favorite and a very special stylist at Illusions Salon and Spa.

She works at Illusions only on Wednesdays to provide services for her clients that are in Northern Colorado Springs. The remainder of the week she provides Stylist services at her own business, Salon Magnolia, in mid-Colorado Springs.

She is an excellent Stylist according to her happy clients!

ladonna tyboroski

LaDonna Tyboroski is one of our best stylists at Illusions Salon and Spa. She is a fantastic person and stylist. She has been working at Illusions for many years and remains one of the top stylists.

LaDonna provides Cut, Color, and Styling for Women, Men and Children. She works Monday-Saturday with appointments available in the evening.

cayla hadfield
Cayla Peterson graduated from La James College of Hair Styling with a full Cosmetology license in hair, skin and nails. She grew up in small town in Iowa and moved to Colorado 6 years ago. Her specialty is in Hair Color and Cut. She provides hair services for Men, Women and Children and works Tuesdays-Saturday and in the evenings by appointment.

A word from Cayla: I love my profession. It doesn't feel like work to me each day. I value each relationship with my clients. Getting to know them and their lives is part of what makes my day at work so fun. I have a heart to serve and to please people by helping them to look and feel their best.

I prefer using Pureology Color Care and Aquage Styling products. My favorite hair spray is Kenra 25 ... for 10 years now. I use Schwarzkhopf professional color. Each and every client leaves feeling and looking great. I like to think I am the best hairstylist in Colorado Springs, come see me!

Vanessa has excellent hair cut, color and styling skills. She also provides Updos for weddings and proms.

She works Monday-Saturday and by appointment in the evenings.

Missy Verderamo is a trained cosmetologist with a dedication to hair styling, nails and make-up. She is native to Colorado Springs.

From Missy: At Illusions, I offer hair and waxing services. I am at Illusions Monday-Saturday and also offer evening appointments by request. When I wake up in the mornings there is no better feeling than to be able to come into work, especially at a great salon like this one. Changing someone's look or providing a client with a little pick-me-up style makes what I do worth it.

Additionally, I often provide services for wedding and special events such as Updos, Express Manis and Pedi, and Make up application. I can travel as needed upon request.

For Hair color I use a Matrix product line which provides rich, deep color and a vast selection. My favorite product lines are the PUREOLOGY and AQUAGE styling products which allow me to complete a look with a stylish flair and healthy shine.

Gail Campbell has been working in the hair industry for many years and her skills include Cut, Color, and styling for both men and women.

She possesses an excellent technique for cutting and styling along with color and hilite enhancements.

She works Monday - Saturday and is available for evening hair services by appointment.
